I recorded an album 4 years ago of music from the video game "Minecraft." I think I want to try and publish my arrangements.  What publishers do you think would be interested?  Thanks in advance!

EDIT:  Please do not comment about sync rights v.s. printing rights, I just want names of publishers, that's it.

As I understand it, the first thing you need to do is find out the owner of the rights to those tunes, since you'll probably need their permission. It could be the composer(s), or more likely (if it was work for hire) the publisher of the game. Or Plan B, write your own tunes!

I've already done that.  I paid for those rights when I published the album.  If I wanted to I could self publish them right now, however I'd rather go through a publisher.  But, I don't know which ones would be interested in this genre of music; which is the point of this post.

Ryan, thanks for the update! I am about the last person you'd want to ask about publishers for that genre -- would it be someone who caters to the overlap between gamers and musicians? Just my curiosity, maybe I will learn something!
